What better way to celebrate Dr. Suess' birthday than reading to your children? Today is Read Across America Day, and in honor of it we spent the morning at our local library. Then this evening a friend dropped by some "Cat in the Hat" cupcakes. I love reading to my children and it is something that happens in our home multiple times a day. It is hard for me to imagine there are homes where children are not exposed to this wonderful (and free thanks to libraries across the country) form of entertainment. Whether it is habit or not, read to your child tonight!
What is your (or your child's) favorite Dr. Seuss book?

I need to get Hop on Pop...Ella currently loves Dr. Seuss' "There's a Wocket in My Pocket" and "The Foot Book".
Mr. Brown Can Moo Can You is another favorite of ours.
