We made our inaugural visit to a public pool today. There are two in Rochester; we checked out Soldier's Field (the other is at Silver Lake). My kids both LOVED the zero depth pool and fountains. My three year old was pretty bummed he couldn't go on the 112 foot slide (since he wanted to go in tandem with dad). The bathrooms made me cringe, but other than that we had a fun time. No floaties are allowed. Cost is $4 per adult and $3 per youth (cash or check only!). Go here for more info.
