One of the best things about summer has to be the consumption of ice cream on a hot day. Locally owned Flapdoodles Homemade Ice Cream just opened in Rochester at 3525 22nd Ave NW. We checked it out this weekend and the funky ice cream creation names gave us a good laugh. The actual ice cream was not bad either!

We tried Flapdoodles last night and it was great! I've been looking for a place that does straight ice cream, got the coffee ice cream and the mint chocolate chip. We'll be regulars. :)
