Although we've had mild and pleasant weather the past few days, I know winter is just around the corner. I'm not really sure what I need to do to prepare our home. I recently read an article in Real Simple that gave me a few starting points. What other tips and advice can you offer me?

Un-hook any outdoor hoses
Make window quilts or blankets for bedrooms for extra warmth
