It is harvest season! This week I took my little family to Sterling Berry Farm (5542 23rd St. NE) to pick some red raspberries. The berries cost $3.50 per pound and the farm provides containers. My two-year-old absolutely loved this activity and could have stayed there all day. Raspberries will be available for a few more weeks (I think we might go again!), and then it will be time to harvest grapes. Sterling also grows strawberries which are ready for picking at the beginning of each summer.

I need to go raspberry or blackberry picking! I found some bushes the other day, but they looked like they had all been picked. bummer.
