Thursdays on First and 3rd
We've been hearing good things about the downtown summer market and music festival, Thursdays on First. Tonight we had the chance to stroll around ourselves. The music on both stages was great and our toddler loved playing in the Peace Plaza water fountain. Some of our favorite booths were the pet adoption agency that had kittens for kiddos to pet, the Norwegian pastries booth (I have Norwegian blood and we traveled there a few summers ago), and the home-made popcorn vendor giving out free samples. We of course got a corn dog and funnel cake to top off the night. The festival occurs every Thursday, June through August from 11 a.m.-8:30 p.m. and there is no admission charge. Definitely another fun, family-friendly event happening here in Rochester and a great way to spend a summer evening.
