From the Canadian Pacific Railway website:
"The goal of the Holiday Train is to collect food and money for local food banks and to raise awareness in the fight against hunger. At each event, the Holiday Train provides a box car stage, a line up of great musical talents and a corporate contribution to the local food bank. The community, in turn, is encouraged to donate food and funds, all of which stays in the community."
I think my son would love to see a train all decorated in lights, however, the train doesn't quite stop in Rochester and I am not sure if it is worth the hour drive (stopping in Winona/Wabasha on Dec. 10 and the cities on Dec. 11). Anyway, I do like that it is for a good cause during this special season. I'd go if my kids were older, for sure.
